Personalized learning for every
student.
Alppy turns textbooks, paper worksheets and AI into a teaching assistant for secondary school teachers. Built in Switzerland.
- PER compatible
- Lehrplan 21 compatible
- Designed in Switzerland
How it works
The teacher stays in control. AI assists where it helps.
- 01
Create
Your textbook, your own exercises or AI exercises.
- 02
Print
Printable worksheets, with a QR code per pupil.
- 03
Scan
Photograph the completed sheets: AI reads the handwriting.
- 04
Correct
Alppy assists, the teacher decides.
- 05
Personalize
Spot the gaps, form groups, prepare a worksheet for each.
AI only talks to the teacher. Nothing reaches a pupil until you have approved it.
Features
Meet Alppy, your AI-powered teaching assistant.
a. Pupil tracking
You see who is stuck, and on what.
By class, by pupil and by competency, in five levels that stay readable even photocopied.
- Mastered
- Nearly mastered
- Consolidating
- Reteach
- Not assessed
Class 10H · Mathematics
Never a hidden zero: MSN 35 has not been assessed yet, so it shows as not assessed, not as a zero.
b. Exercise creation
Three ways to create exercises.
Your textbook, every exercise as printed, sorted by competency and theme. Your own exercises. Or AI drafts that you review. You choose.
c. Automated grading
Print it. Scan it. Correct it.
Pupils answer by hand, on paper. AI reads the handwriting and proposes a correction for each answer. You review, edit and have the final say.
d. Personalized worksheets
Worksheets matched to level, topic and skill.
A network of AI agents studies every mistake and suggests groups of pupils. Each group gets its own worksheet, drawn from your exercise bank and approved by you.
e. Lesson planning
Your next lesson, built on what the class already knows.
Alppy proposes the shape of the lesson from the class's gaps: what needs revisiting, what can move on, and how long to spend on it. You keep your hand on all of it.
f. Task list
What is left to do, in order.
The papers to mark, the generated exercises to approve, the sheets to print for Wednesday. The list builds itself from your classes: none of it has to live in your head.
Curricula
Compatible with PER and Lehrplan 21.
MSN 32, MA.1.A: these are the curriculum's official objectives, in their original numbering. Every exercise points at its own, which is what makes it possible to follow a competence, not just an average.
French-speaking Switzerland
PER
Plan d'études romand. Every exercise is linked to its official curriculum objective.

- MSN 32
- MSN 33
German-speaking Switzerland

Security & privacy
No pupil's name leaves the school.
Six commitments the software enforces itself. They are not intentions in a policy: if one of them is broken, the operation is blocked.
Codes, not names
Only pupil codes such as 10H_07 go to AI providers. If a name appears, nothing is sent.
Nothing printed without you
AI waits for your approval.

Your textbooks stay yours
Indexed, never redistributed.
Limited logs

Designed for the nFADP, with the teacher in control.
Training
Training and support.
We train your team on site or online, using your own textbooks.
Arrange a trainingSessions at your school
You leave with a first sheet ready.

Who we are
The team behind Alppy.
Three co-founders from EPFL and ETH Zurich, working from Zurich and Lausanne. Swiss schooling, the French baccalauréat, the International Baccalaureate: we saw each curriculum slice the same competencies its own way. Alppy knows the curriculum, respects paper and leaves the decision to the people who teach.

Frequently asked questions
What teachers ask us.
What is Alppy?
Alppy is a Swiss AI-powered teaching assistant for lower-secondary teachers (cycle 3, ages 12 to 15). It builds worksheets from your own textbooks, grades the papers from a single photo and shows what each pupil has mastered, competency by competency. It covers mathematics, French, German and English, and is designed for the PER in French-speaking Switzerland as much as for the Lehrplan 21 in the German-speaking cantons.
How does Alppy generate differentiated worksheets?
Alppy starts from what it already knows about the class: for each pupil, which competencies are solid, which are shaky and which are fading because they have not been revisited. It then composes a worksheet aimed at that pupil's gaps, drawing first on your own textbooks, already filed by competency and theme. When no textbook exercise fits, the AI proposes one: it is always marked as generated and is never printed without your approval. The whole class prints in a single batch, each sheet with its answer key.
Is Alppy aligned with the PER?
Yes. Every exercise is attached to the objectives of the Plan d'études romand in their official numbering (MSN 32, MSN 35 and so on), and mastery is rolled up along those same objectives. The PER is imported from the data CIIP publishes rather than retyped by hand, and a revised curriculum is added alongside the old one instead of overwriting it, so mastery already computed stays readable. The Lehrplan 21 is supported the same way for German-speaking schools.
